A few weeks ago Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Book2 Go, an ARM-based thin and light Windows laptop based on the Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3. While the chipset supports 5G, the original model didn’t make use of it and only offered local connectivity. Today, the company unveiled a 5G version of the laptop.
The Samsung Galaxy Book2 Go 5G is a dual-SIM device and can combine a physical SIM and an eSIM (note that only single standby is supported). The 5G connection uses the sub-6GHz bands.
Also, the laptop can connect to Wi-Fi 6E networks and knows a few tricks if you have other Galaxy devices. For example, you can connect to a Galaxy Tab using the Second Screen feature, which does what it says on the tin. Quick and easy pairing is also enabled for Galaxy Buds.

The Galaxy Book2 Go is thin, measuring just 15.5 mm thick and weighing 0.61″ (3.17 lbs). That doesn’t make it a weakling, however, it has passed MIL-STD- 810H for high temperature, low temperature, thermal shock, vibration, low pressure and humidity.
The laptop features a 14-inch IPS LCD with 1080p resolution, the hinge allows the screen to rotate 180°. It runs Windows 11 Home out of the box, which supports x86 (32-bit and 64-bit) apps, in case you rely on older Windows apps that don’t have an ARM port.
If you’re not familiar with the Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3, it’s a Qualcomm ARM chip intended for battery-powered Windows devices. It is made on a 6nm TSMC process and has 8 Kryo cores and an Adreno GPU, similar to Android chipsets. There is also an X53 modem and a FastConnect 6700 system (Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2).
Wired connectivity includes two USB-C ports, one USB-A 2.0 and a combined headphone jack. There is a microSD slot and a nanoSIM slot. The laptop runs on a 42.3Wh battery and comes with a 45W power adapter.
The Samsung Galaxy Book2 Go will be available from the end of January via Samsung.com and select carriers. A non-5G version is available, plus two memory configurations for the 5G model, here are the prices:
