The iPhone 17 Pro Max will arrive with a larger battery of the 4,685 mAh cell than its predecessor. According to a new voice outside China today, the iPhone 17 Pro Max will finally be the first iPhone to reach 5,000 mAh.
As perhaps you will know, it was practically the default capacity for the top android devices of peak until recently, when the Chinese brands started using Si/C batteries, thus bringing them beyond that limit, while Samsung and Google were happy to remain around the sign of 5000 mAh, at least for now.

Throughout the Apple iPhone Pro Max line, each new generation has brought with it a slight increase in the battery size, apart from the iPhone 14 Pro Max which actually had a cell always slightly smaller than iPhone 13 Pro Max.
