Samsung is rolling out a new firmware update for its Galaxy Watch4 that offers camera zoom controls, a new device diagnostic tool, and other stability fixes. The update brings the R860XXU1GWA3 build number and is just under 330MB in size.

The big news is enabling zoom within the Camera Controller app on the watch. The feature only works with supported flagship Samsung smartphones ranging from the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Z Flip or newer. There are two options for controlling zoom levels: via the rotating bezel or by pinching to zoom on the smartwatch’s touchscreen.
The other novelty of the update is the device diagnostic tool that allows you to check the battery status of the watch and the touchscreen function via the connected phone.
