Samsung is continuing with its public beta test for the next version of its Android skin. A UI 5 Beta 4 is now available as an over-the-air upgrade for Galaxy S22 family members in the US who are enrolled in the beta program.
This is labeled as the ZVJ2 build, is a 1.5GB download, and carries the October 2022 security patch level with it, along with many bug fixes. That said, there are still known issues, such as a black screen shown on the monitor when using DeX and the phone screen is locked, a force shutdown that occurs when selecting a filter from the lock screen menu while setting the multiple pack of the background and also get a Unable to open file message when you receive something via QuickShare and try to open it from the pop-up.

Multi-user functionality was added in the first beta of One UI 5 and unfortunately removed in the fourth beta. It is unclear if this will remain gone or if Samsung plans to add it again in a later build.
The fixes have to do with crashes getting into app folders, background changes, using S Pen Air Command, object eraser not working, vibration not working for home gesture, and frame breaking issues when switching between a widget to the home screen. Also, an issue that caused the phone to continuously ring and vibrate was fortunately fixed, as well as one that automatically used sleep mode and adding and removing favorites in the Gallery should be smoother.
This update will most likely arrive in other countries where the One UI 5 beta program will be available in the next few hours, or days at the latest.
