Customers may end up paying higher prices for Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 series. According to a report, flagship phones will cost more as component prices are rising.

The report states that prices for crucial smartphone components such as SoC and RAM are seeing an increase due to increased demand.

However, the price increase is not limited to Samsung. Other smartphone makers, including Apple, Xiaomi, Oppo and vivo, have also increased the prices of their flagship models.

Vivo’s latest X300 line, for example, costs more than its predecessors. That said, Samsung’s price increase may not apply globally. The report likely refers to a specific increase in South Korea’s domestic market.

The Galaxy S26 range is said to be announced at the end of February and could be available for purchase in March.
