The X Fold2 will be introduced live this month and we could see the clamshell X Flip alongside it. The horizontally hinged foldout has been a part of the rumor for several months, and today we spotted the device in a live photo, courtesy of reliable tipster Digital Chat Station.
The new phone will have a circular camera island with the Zeiss logo and a horizontal display, which will take up more than half of the front cover.
We are likely to find two cameras on the circular island. There is a visible diamond pattern and the purple color matches the most popular option in the Samsung Z Flip and Oppo Find N2 Flip range.
The image isn’t as detailed as we would have liked, and we can’t fully confirm if the hinge lays flat or if there is a slight gap. What we do know from the previous listings and benchmarks is that the panel inside will have a 1080p resolution, while inside will be a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with 12GB of RAM.
