TCL is ready to showcase its latest display technology today with a main event that will be live streamed on YouTube. The event will start at 14:00 CEST (12:00 UTC) and the latest QD-Mini LED TVs and the first iterations of the TCL NXTPaper series of phones await us. TCL’s NXTPaper is the brand’s anti-glare display technology that focuses on eye protection. We have already seen several NXTPaper Android tablets from TCL, but this year we will finally get NXTPaper smartphones as well.
TCL actually unveiled its NXTPaper smartphone concept earlier this year at CES in January. That device featured an LCD panel with the same matte finish, a Dimension 700 chipset, and a 50MP main camera.
