A lot has happened over the past couple of years and made the market more price sensitive, so finding a good deal is more important than ever. And while we can’t help you navigate the real estate market, we can help you find an attractive new phone on the cheap.

Below are the best deals we found this week. If you want more, you can check out our daily deals page, which is up-to-date and offers information like a price history so you can see if something is a real discount or just the price floating up and down. The at-a-glance information we’ve gathered below has quick links to the specs of the device, our review, and (of course) the store where you can get one.

Plus, because we serve a global audience, we’ve broken it down by region to make navigation easier. Here are the links to go directly to the section you are interested in:

Mobile gaming has overtaken PC and console gaming combined, so if you haven’t already, now may be the time to get inside. The Black Shark 5 Pro offers a 6.67-inch 144Hz OLED display, pop-up game trigger and a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, plus a fast-charging 4,650mAh battery with a 120W adapter.

The other US deals come from Motorola. The Moto Edge 30 Pro is a sleeper gaming phone – the casual exterior can’t hide the 6.7 “144Hz OLED display or the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. This too has a relatively fast 4,800mAh battery. (68W charging).

Then a couple of inexpensive options equipped with a stylus. The Moto G Stylus (2021) is showing its age, but with a 6.8-inch display it is a budget phone that will allow you to sketch your ideas. However, you may want to opt for the 5G model. It costs a little more, but you get faster connectivity and more memory.

United States of America Canada

The offerings we have chosen for Canada are simple: Samsung’s latest foldables have dropped in price, so now may be your chance to try the next-generation form factor.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 has a very cheap upgrade from 256GB to 512GB of storage. You can fill it with videos or files you are working on (screen aspect ratio is also great for emulating old games, just to say).

The Galaxy Z Flip4 tends to sell better, not necessarily because of its superior form factor (it’s a personal choice), but because it’s much cheaper, in this case half the cost.

Here you can choose between two different versions of the same formula: Realme GT Neo 3 (80 W) and Poco X3 GT. The former is more expensive and offers a 6.7 “120Hz AMOLED display, a faster Dimensity 8100 chipset and a better 50MP (1 / 1.56”) main camera with OIS.

The Poco X3 GT drops to a Dimensity 1100, its 5,000mAh battery needs 10 more minutes to fully charge (67W vs 80W), and you get a 64MP (1 / .97 “base camera, without The Poco is a bit cheaper and offers a 120Hz IPS LCD for those who prefer it to AMOLED.

You can also buy one of the latest Samsung smartwatches with Wear OS 3.5 and One UI Watch 4.5. The Galaxy Watch5 Pro is larger with a diameter of 45mm and a 1.4-inch display, this also means a larger 590mAh battery (the largest of any Galaxy Watch). The Galaxy Watch5 is best suited for wrists smaller at 40mm (1.2-inch display, 284mAh battery).

The Samsung Galaxy M33 is a good budget all-rounder. It has a 120Hz display, a 6.6-inch LCD, has 5G connectivity (Exynos 1280 chipset), a 50MP main camera and a 5MP ultra-wide base plus a large 5,000mAh battery with 25 fast charging W.

For less money you can get the Nokia X10 with similar specs: 6.67-inch 60Hz IPS LCD, 5G connectivity (Snapdragon 480), 48MP main and 5MP ultra-wide camera, plus a 4,470mAh battery with 18W charging. The X10 launched last year with Android 11, but HMD has committed to 3 years of OS updates and patches, so the phone will stay fresh for a while. The Galaxy M series is not part of Samsung’s extended operating system update program, although it is expected to receive 4 years of security patches.
