Yet another rumor claims the Xiaomi 12 Ultra to keep the same camera specs as the Mi 11 Ultra. For Digital chat station on Weibo and a leaked case with camera spec markings, Xiaomi 12 Ultra will have a 120x, 12-120mm, f / 1.95-4.1 camera, which directly coincides with the current Ultra.
Let’s clarify the specs: 12-120mm refers to the optical distance covered by the 48MP 12mm equivalent ultrawide to 48MP 120mm telephoto lens. The other numbers refer to the camera lens apertures, starting with the main camera’s f / 1.95 and ending with the slower f / 4.1 of the periscope telephoto lens.
Most rumors agree that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will keep the camera specs, even if some people were expecting brighter lenses, at least. However, switching to a faster Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip can bring much-needed speed gains and perhaps even some improvements in image processing.
Xiaomi 12 Ultra could arrive this month, coated with premium materials such as leather, glass or ceramic, like its predecessor.
