Xiaomi India has announced a partnership with YouTube, a first for the tech company. Xiaomi smartphones of the Mi and Redmi series can now get up to 3 months of YouTube Premium service for free.

YouTube Premium includes access to YouTube Music Premium, has no advertising before and during videos, and also has the function to download videos for offline viewing, as well as watching PIP-style in the background.
All Xiaomi owners who have not used a trial version of YouTube Premium, YouTube Music Premium, YouTube Red or Google Play Music before are eligible, provided they have one of these devices:

The promotion will end on January 31, 2023, and people who purchased these devices must activate their free YouTube Premium before February 28, 2023. Once the promotion period has expired, YouTube will automatically charge INR129 ($ 1.65 / € 1.55) ) per month.
