Xiaomi announced its new version of Android called HyperOS in October and released the revamped software alongside the Xiaomi 14 series in China.

Now, the company has detailed the global launch of HyperOS. It will start seeding on nine devices in the first quarter of 2024. These are Xiaomi 13 Ultra, 13 Pro, 13, 13T Pro, 13T, Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12S, Xiaomi Pad 6 and Poco F5.

Xiaomi says eligible users will receive the update over the air, but the rollout will be gradual.

HyperOS is designed to power your phone, your home, and even your car. Aside from a slight visual makeover, the operating system has a faster kernel, is lighter than MIUI and quicker to install.
