ZTE unveiled its Axon 30S in China today and, as the name suggests, it’s a slightly updated version of last year’s Axon 30. The base specs and design remain unchanged while the only noticeable difference is on the software side where the Axon 30S now boots Android 12 with ZTE’s MyOS 12.

The price has also changed with the base 8/128 GB trim which now costs CNY 1,698 ($ 238) while the 12/256 GB model is CNY 2,198 ($ 308) which was the introductory price for the ‘Axon 30 from 8/128 GB last year. You can pick up an Axon 30S in black or blue starting today in China while international availability has not been detailed at this point.

The ZTE Axon 30S offers a 6.92-inch 10-bit OLED display with FHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone keeps the 16MP selfie camera under display (UD) and UD fingerprint scanner. There’s a 64MP main cam on the back along with an 8MP ultrawide snapper and a 5MP macro lens. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 chipset sits at the helm while the battery capacity is 4,200mAh. The phone comes bundled with a 55W charger.
