The nubia Z50 Ultra smartphone will come with a fourth generation under-display camera and now we know the official launch date. The brand will introduce the device on March 7 with a UDC technology called Neovision.
The device will have a 16MP stacked selfie camera with 6P lens, 2.24µm pixel size and f/2.0 aperture under the 6.8-inch AMOLED panel.

The official teasers confirmed the leaked patterns from earlier: flat sides all around and an alert slider to the right, above the power key and volume rocker. There’s a small sliver between the screen and the top for the earpiece, which could also act as a second stereo speaker.

ZTE nubia Z50 Ultra with Neovision UDC
We are yet to learn more specs about the nubia Z50 Ultra, but given Vanilla’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, we expect the same SoC here. The regular nubia Z50 had a bespoke 35mm-equivalent primary camera with a 64MP sensor, and we’re eager to know whether this flagship will inherit the whole setup and what else the brand is hiding up its sleeve.
The official presentation is in a week and we expect the ZTE brand to provide more details in the days leading up to the event.
