Respawn Entertainment has released a brand new gameplay trailer for Apex Legends: Legacy, giving fans a look at the upcoming content that is part of the Season 9 update.
The season was brought forward last week in a cinematic trailer, introducing a new playable character in the form of Valkyrie, who has VTOL Jets and a Missile Swarm attack.
However, the new video offers a more in-depth look at Season 9 and the content it will include. This includes the new PvP arenas, which will allow players to fight in more traditional deathmatch modes from first person shooters.
PvP arenas will allow teams of three to compete against each other on five smaller maps. Matches will also take place over multiple rounds, significantly disrupting the battle royale mode Apex Legends is known for.
The video also shows the Bocek Bow, a new weapon that is difficult to wield but also incredibly lethal. It is most effective at medium range, but can be a risk due to its slow reload speed.
Apex Legends: Legacy will launch on May 4th for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and Nintendo Switch.
