Hi does anyone have any 2023 recommendations for tvshows, mostly action sci fi, thriller, fantasy ( like house of the dragon, shadow and bone). really having a difficult time choosing good tvshows, especially because of some of these right wing youtubers calling shows woke and whatever. I couldn't even watch star wars and the Mandalorian because of them.

I just watched the new Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. It's enjoyable if you have or haven't played the TTRPG, and it never tried to take itself too seriously- though it was predictable and cheesy and some points, it was a very fun experience. I will say that the trailers are slightly misleading in the amount of comedy you can find in the movie and that it probably won't induce many belly laughs as you might expect, but I still recommend checking it out if you feel like it. It's more comparable to Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle as opposed to Guardians of the Galaxy as I've heard others compare it to, just in the sense that it's fun but not funny.

Solid 6.75/10, a good movie for kids or as a "space-out" movie where you don't want to think too hard but still feel like watching something.

The Batman (2022) is masterpiece. That's all.

Has anyone watched Midsommar or Hereditary? Because those were some... different films. I absolutely loved them, though!
