  • So, I went to Panda Express and specifically went inside to order because I didn't want to risk them f*cking up my food. The guy before me ordered half chow main and half steamed rice, and I heard him specifically say steamed rice, but the lady did half fried rice. The guy noticed and corrected, and she put the mistake aside. I ordered half rice and half super greens, and I watched her get that correct. BUT clearly a swap happened, and I believe I got the dude's f*cked order, so I have half chow mein and half fried rice. And while I like both, I don't usually do them at the same time. Double the carbs, plus I like my veggies. F*ck! I specifically went inside so they wouldn't mess up my order, and it still happened! And now I barely have veggies, I want my veggies! 😭
I bought a surprise for my mom, way in advance. Hope she'll like it. Maybe it will make her feel a bit better. She's been stressed and sad since grandma died.
My grandmother just died, the day after Christmas. Christmas was her favorite holiday, maybe that's why she died the day after. At least, I'd like to think so.

I'm so sorry. It's always hard letting people go. Sometimes it can take a while. A very long while. And that's completely ok :) take your time and remember that people care about you.
Went to a Christmas party yesterday, and the food was great! I wanted seconds, but had no room. Probably for the best, I'm trying to lose weight. With some success! I've lost thirty pounds. 😇
I still haven't decided if I like the new bookworm thing or dislike it. The color changing book is a bit annoying.
Well, I don't know how they handle it in your country but I'm studyin law in Germany. It's not boring at all, if you ask me. It is broken down into many subtopics and especially dealing with criminal law cases is very interesting.

There's a lot of what I call "law speak" or "political speech" in my country. It's not said in a way that's easily understood by the average person, so your eyes will just glaze over when law/political type things come up. Personally, I think they do it on purpose. They don't want the average person to understand, cause then they would have to properly face the people. If I had my way, there would be a law that requires politics and legal matters be spoken and written in way that would be easily understood by most people. Rather than how it is now, seeming like an entirely different language even though it's technically not.

Law language is often used to keep the facts open to possible interpretations. This has advantages and disadvantages, but above all advantages for the lawyer, in this case me. You always want to have a back door open. Only when Latin is added does it get a little too complicated for me. But we cannot deny that law is also political. Especially in public law and legal history. The part that I honestly like the least.
My bitlife character, Salvatore Montalcini, had an interesting life. First, he was born the youngest child of a famous soccer athlete, the only one born of an affair. Childhood was mostly normal, he got along great with his mother and stepmother, and also got along great with his elder half-brother (basically the father figure of his life, they had a huge age gap), he did not get along with his half sisters, and he did very well in school, was vice president of the yearbook club, and was extremely popular. He received a scholarship, studied criminal justice, became the president of the art club, and then attended law school. After graduating he bought some haunted houses with the money he inherited from his father, and became an exorcist. He exorcised the spirits, then sold the houses.

Decides he finally wants to settle down at 60, goes searching for love. First person this guy meets is the 24 year old princess of Morroco, he has the luck of the godd*mn devil! And she's f#cking gorgeous, reasonably intelligent, not crazy, and obviously has a lot of money. We need look no further, she's clearly perfect. They have a whirlwind romance and get married the same year they met, in a cathedral, in front of 4000 people. The palace they live in is haunted, go figure. The two of them get along very well, they even have amazing chemistry in bed, and they have their first child the following year, a beautiful baby boy, who's exactly 30 years apart from his only older brother.

Salvatore basically goes on to have a near fairy tale ending, with a few hiccups. Their second child together gets cancer at the age of 3, but is easily cured. Tragedy strikes, and his eldest child dies from a fall at the age of 39, he travels back to Italy to attend the funeral, then the third child with the princess is born that same year, the first daughter. Also, Salvatore develops both Alzheimer's and dementia, so he probably can't tell his socks from his gloves. He dies in his sleep at 117, with four living children, 3 sons and 2 daughters, his kids loved him, his wife loved him, and Morroco adored him. Bitlife gave him the scandalous ribbon.

Yes, this is an interesting life... I don't have it but I'm getting Bitlife right now.
Any health books I release will always be free. I don't charge people for trying to survive. It's scummy.
I like the new setup in the ebook section. Being able to see the genre tags immediately is convenient.
Just got my hands on a hard to come by story I've been interested in. I'll probably binge it. 🥰
Mom's looking to refinance the house, so somebody was here for that.

Refinancing fell through. Something about not enough collateral. Sounds like bullsh!t.
I hung my mask outside to dry, and now it's gone! I'm so just... ugh! 😤 Mom's like, maybe it blew away~ and where, pray tell? I can't find it! That's my favorite mask! 😭

Found it. On the front porch for some reason. Slightly damaged. My current theory is our dog ran off with it. In any case, I need a new mask.
Okay, I just had so much fun on that new discord. That was straight fire, so awesome. I'm dead until tomorrow, though. 😂
