I recently began work on a v1 Android app to port it to Android v13 up.
Removing Google ad's, spyware and analytics, and removing other ad's as well as unlocking the app and making it offline went smooth.
However, it uses the original Amazon AppID protection scheme (similar to Google's modern PairIP).
I've run every tool I could think of and RE'd the app, but the protection is spread throughout the whole DEX code.
I'm not keen on using LP for modding as it requires LP to be installed on the users device, but I tried its Amazon signature remover.
That failed until N7 and then the game began working
When I transfered the app to another device, the Amazon protection had returned
I am attempting to make the N7 Amazon patch permanent to the APK but have not yet figured out how to do so. As such, I began researching. This is when I stumbled upon this news.
In a very short period of time a whole lot of people who purchased Android apps from Amazon are going to be pissed off when the apps suddenly no longer work.
This is the time for modders to get a jump on these apps and figure out how to remove the protection permanently, preferably without the need for an additional app such as LP.

If anyone can offer me some insight to making the N7 Amazon patch permanent, please PM me.
