Live action version of the classic Disney animated film, Aladdin.
Review:
This movie was amazing. I was worried they would mess it up trying to make it more modern than its supposed to be but they did a great job. The actors were well casted and the singing was fantastic. Even when they added a new song it didn't bother me because it went so well with the movie. And the actress has such a beautiful singing voice. I thought the woman who played princess Jasmine was beautiful and looked like the princess comes to life. And the guy who played Aladdin looked just as I imagined him to look. Apu The monkey was so adorable and funny. I just wanted to take him home with me. Will Smith did an amazing job as The genie. He has such great comedic timing that I was laughing pretty much the whole time he was on. I saw The movie with my six year old daughter and she loved it too. Although she started to cry before the end when everything was going wrong. I had to remind her that Disney movirs always have a happy ending. The actor who played Jafar was such a villain. He really had that terrible crazy look down pat. The special effects were wonderful too. I look forward to buying this when it comes out on DVD.
