This is some of the most extreme aspects of modding. It goes way beyond adding gold, or unlocking levels in a game.
This gets into the most extreme security scheme yet devised for Android, cryptography, obfuscation, Virtual Machines, backdoor systems, tamper protection, callback codes, device spoofing, etc.
It's akin to locking up a silver spoon inside of Fort Knox.
The security is so extreme that it begs programmers to crack it.
Why so much and so extreme? Certainly not to protect a free app.
It is so that ad's, analytics, spyware, etc can be protected from removal.
Google has failed to learn time and again, open-source OS's don't mean you get to make it a capitalist platform.
