Name of the app you are reviewing: Gacha World

An old rpg game made by Lunime, long before the rise of Gacha Life and eventually; Gacha Club.

Review:
A turn-based gacha rpg with a twist on its mechanics, instead of being a simple "attack mooks then use skills on boss" formula it uses a tile based system to determine how you will attack your enemies. It's a fairly unique gameplay experience, although it can easily be circumvented by just powerleveling your units and summoner.

The story is unique for it's day, being the multiversal crisis kind which wasn't really popular back in 2016-2018. Nowadays thanks to the popularity of the MCU, concepts about other worlds or multiverses became commonplace.

As for it's difficulty, the game gives you several "Events" that allows you to powerlevel your units so that you can catch up. The difficulty only really picks up during the lategame and even then it borders on simply just leveling up all the characters you meet in the story.

The game's Gacha System isn't predatory because of it's Offline nature, and you can easily get powerful units with a single summon. In fact, the game likes to make you feel powerful with your units so that you can keep playing which isn't exactly a bad game design.

There's also customization for your character, although it's not as complex as Gacha Clubs character customization.

Would you recommend this to other users? If you're interested in checking out Lunime's old days prior to Gacha Club/Life then I recommend you check Gacha World out, the game still holds up fairly well.

If you're interested in a offline Gacha game that you can min-max or play on the go, give it a shot.
