Hello, Game of Thrones fans in the forum! I am creating this thread because I am curious to find out any fan fictions or theories you guys have and if you wish to share them below all the better!
Let me start. What if Ser Arthur Dayne slays young Ned at the Tower of Joy during Robert's Rebellion? I believe and always fantasized that Jon would be raised and trained by the Sword of the Morning, and even if Jon showed any Targaryen features, Arthur could have passed him off as a Dayne since some of their members also share the Valyrian features of pale skin and violet eyes. I would have loved to have seen Jon grow up under Arthur's wing, and who knows, he may have grown up to become the greatest swordsman in all of Westeros and even take up Dawn when he is deemed worthy of bearing the title Sword of the Morning.
