I'm not a big fan of online gaming.
I live in a remote area with temperamental internet on a good day.
Many cellphones don't even function out here.
Dead zone aside, there is too much drama, greed, trolling, etc. for me to enjoy the games.
I do however enjoy offline RPG's and arcade games.

One thing that really peeves me is the blatant lies told to sell games.
I've already covered games tagging on the term, Roguelike, when it isn't a Roguelike at all.
Today though I present a game (not alone in such scams), Dungeon Ward.
A FREE and OFFLINE role playing game in the genre' of a classic dungeon crawler.

Anytime Playstore promotes an appealing game, for free, I am skeptical.
Add to that an offline game with ad's and IAP.

Now, in fairness, the game will play offline.

However, one can't finish the game without Internet and money.
Looking at the games permissions reveals many hidden internet features, mainly for ad's and billing.

Looking at the game for malicious abuse of Analytics we find 73, 72 of which have nothing to do with legitimate crash reports, and are about sneaking in ad's and reporting your personal profile to corporation's.

These background ad's and analytics significantly bloat the game, waste storage space, slow down processing speed, waste bandwidth, and often cost you real money.

All because truth in advertising has been replaced by greed and lies.

I plan to clean up this game eventually, because that is what modders do, protect the gamer from corporate greed and lies.
