I've recently become somewhat addicted to this match-3 type game. The twist is that it's made by the same people who made Puzzle Quest on Nintendo DS, so in my opinion they really know what they're doing when it comes to match-3 RPG-style games. Your hero has different stats, classes, weapons and you can recruit different types of troops and you'll get bonuses for commanding many of the same type. It's still very grindy though, as is typical of mobile games.
