Name of the app you are reviewing: Hero or Villain: Genesis and Battle Royale (sequel)
Link to the content you're reviewing on our site (optional): Hero or Villain: Genesis
You can become whoever you want in this gane, let it be superman or thanos, this game has it all, with its vast and varying storylines this game will keep you entertained for hours.
while it has a great storyline, it's sequel sadly doesn't live up to the first game's expectations, killing off many of the beloved characters from the first game is NOT a way to draw us in for a trilogy.
Review:
The first game, Genesis, has many pros and some cons, the game itself let's you pick the hero (or villain) that you want to be, as strong as hercules or as weak as a cockroach, the decision ultimately ends up in your fingers.
the storyline itself is keeps in mind continuity from different paths and it really likes making you feel like the badass you really are. Kill or spare, it's all in your hands.
The romance here is a bit mild as similiar scenarios would sometimes be used even if you chose a different romantic partner in a different playthrough, and it hardly matters anyway as we get into the second book.
Now, the second book, Battle Royale, even though it's a sequel, it is in a way a spin off in itself. It either kills off or remove your beloved cast from the first book entirely, and to top it off the romantic options in the second book is also dead, so that's great.
While it has a really cool storyline, you basically get introduced to a whole new world, people, and etc. you also get to participate in a sort of Colosseum type of fight that is very interesting and fun.
it really would've been far better if Battle Royale was never even released at all, it ruins the experience for everyone who is alrrady so immersed to the story.
Would you recommend this to other users? the first game, definitely, the sequel, not so much
