hesitating to buy stuff from other people

In before, I don't really think twice on unlocking/buying something that I like or something that looks interesting. I would nonchalantly spend my SB Points since the login reward was still available and I didn't have to worry running out of cash.

But now, it's like my dad (sbenny —don't worry it's an analogy) cut me off from my allowance, and I have no way to support myself since I don't have a job (I don't know how to mod games) and all I have is what I earned from before.

And from this, I only really buy stuff from people I am familiar with and trust since they post amazing modded games. I no longer buy things out of curiosity and I just stick to things that I really want/need.

I get what you're saying dude. I'm new to this site but like with any site, there is probably some weirdo uploading and pricing stuff that may or may not have viruses or such. Going with who you're familiar with is the best option.

Before, I wouldn't have minded if the thing that I unlocked turned out to be a bust. Now, I worry that I'm just wasting the cash from simply buying stuff.

It can't be good for other modders here tho, those who have yet to establish themselves because people would be less likely to buy from them. Like what you said, people would think that they're some weirdo who uploads overpriced weird stuff.

Heya, I just wanted to take a moment to reply to your conversation here. There are tons of ways to earn SB Points here and not many people have gotten the chance to read them. When you post your very first introduction on the forum a community team member with a blue badge like mine will reach out to you and give you a helpful guide to this site. In that same guide is a link that explains all the ways you are able to farm SB Points without breaking the rules. It's a really helpful guide that lets you know about all kinds of activities that help you remain an active member. For instance, if you went to go see a movie recently, but we don't have it here on the site yet, you can still write a review and earn SB Points for it. Have you recently tried a game on the google play store, but werent sure if it was worth playing a modded version? Write a review and end it with a question asking others what they think. Do you have tons of ebooks? Release them here. By contributing to the community through discussions and getting to know people you can even get closer to achieving that "active user" badge that will give you a daily login bonus. You just have to be a part of things by sharing your thoughts and communicating with other members. After all, first and foremost we are a community not a simple download site.

I hope I don't get in trouble for saying this, but, the only viable option for me to earn SB Points is to upload ebooks. Even I have only released a few, those I've only read before.

I don't really have time to be active in the forum because my broke ass has to work. And if I do have free time, I spend most of it reading or playing games, and not socializing with people online.

Although I'm being a complaining b*tch, I still appreciate this community for giving me the opportunity to play the games that I like, and the people here are weirdly nice

I will move this conversation to the off topic section though because it fits a bit better in that area instead of the "getting to know you section" it will still be open for replies and comments, it will just be easier to find for people looking for this sort of thing.
