Youtube kids, one with the ability to communicate with the dead visit a hunted hotel
Review:
The book is on the short end when it comes to novels, with less than 250 pages, which adds to the book's readability and makes you able to finish it in one sitting.
The story follows 4 teenagers that are popular on YouTube and are named the Ghost Gang which consists of Chrissy (the girl that can listen to thoughts and also hear ghosts) - Chase (the rich guy who is admitted to getting to a million subscribers and is the one responsible for the editing) - Emma (the girl in charge of the equipment and the technological stuff) - Kiki (the TikTok famous girl who is responsible for getting to attention to their videos)
The Gang was planning to visit a horror hotel in Los Angeles to follow the story of the death/disappearance of Eileen Warren (a girl that seems to have similar powers to Chrissy) and other creepy things that happened in the particular hotel such as gruesome murders.
as soon as Chrissy enters the hotel she is hit with so much pain and suffering brought in by the happenings and ghosts that lurk in the hotel.
there she meets an Australian guy that is bunking in the room with them and who introduces himself as Bram Kelly, he seems to also possess some powers similar to Chrissy.
The paranormal trip they planned to something more gruesome when they stumble upon a real body, along with the shady acts of the hotel owners, the disappearance of all the cameras they mounted, cameras that would show the killer and who is responsible behind all that's happening and creepy hotel vibes the trip turns into a nightmare.
The book also contains a bit of romance in the background with a bit of LGBT representation, not the kind of romance that would pull you away from the story but it's just subtly in there to add to it.
Would you recommend this to other users? Yes, it was a short book less than 250 pages, with a fast pace that would make you read it in one sitting, the only reason I had to put it down a couple of times was cause I had to not because I wanted to but still read it in a single day.
The story is interesting the ending too, you won't expect it, and the characters aren't overbearing you'll like them.
Rating(1-5):
