How to keep save data from an outdated mod to the updated version?

If I reinstall the game I loose game progress. How do I prevent this?

i would first have to ask you if the mod is linked to say facebook or google play? or if you have it saved on a usb or cloud? or if you have it saved in es file explorer on a cloud? do you have it on more yjam one device or not? i wouls not want to steer u in wrong direction.

Turns out you only have to install the mod mod ontop of the old one. Cheers.

Yeah it varies on mod and where u got mod. some mods no longer update themselves and cant be be updated mod to mod. Like i said need more info before I could steer you in proper direction. Glad u figured it out Happy for you.
