Name of the app you are reviewing: I Am Innocent
I Am Innocent offers players a unique gameplay: communicating through instant messengers and phone calls with people you have to investigate a series of murders of teenagers.
Review:
The game is a detective quest. The action takes place in the messenger, where you have to communicate with different characters. Dialogues are well written; reading them is easy and enjoyable. There are no "walls" of text, everything is divided into small paragraphs, replicas. Sometimes we, or we ourselves send script photos, which, if desired, can be enhanced to see them in more detail.
You need to find out who the serial killer is and save a possibly innocent person from mob law. Actually, in the middle of the game, I had a couple of suspects and was very pleased that I was not mistaken.
We don’t need to think that we need to write, the game itself offers answers, it is only necessary sometimes to choose the one that we like best. The character’s attitude towards you and, as the developer promises, the ending depends on the choice of answer. The most unpleasant thing at this moment is that sometimes it is impossible to answer rudely to rudeness. After several rude answers, I can’t agree with the interlocutor...
Between dialogs you need to go through mini-games, which are something like Tetris with a limited number of moves. And this, in my opinion, is the most boring part of the game. This block is directly related to the progress. Winning them opens up further dialogues and details of the investigation. You need to play mini-games quite a lot and it is quite annoying.
Would you recommend this to other users? I liked the idea of the game, the design is also not bad, the plot is interesting. What is happening feels real. So, I would indeed recommend this game to others. If you play this, then I recommend to go through it in a couple of days, so so you won't forget what you are talking about with the characters in the chat and that you are actually investigating.
