I recently began running into apps that had all the telltale signs of being protected by PairIP, however, when I ran my PairIP tools nothing flagged.
Having many of the same cloaking methods of the latest PairIP, it manages to bypass MT, APKtools, and an assortment of common hacking tools.
Using APKiD I was able to identify the security as being a VM by InsideSecure Verimatrix.
InsideSecure and Verimatrix were two seperate security companies that merged.
While they create mainly PC security software, they have since 2019 provided Android security, particualrly ad driven revenue.
The app, a game, contains over 3,000 ad's providers, all of Google's typical sypware, grants access to your devices contacts list and phone without your permission.
Any attempt to modify the app in any way results in it being killed.
In the past, the only way around this protection was to create a wrapper that would fool the app into believing it was communicating with the company key server.
That approach has been disabled.
SDK's as low as v5 have been seen, though the target is Android 14 and up.

I've checked with my RU, CN, EU, CA connections and because this form of security is so uncommon, there is very little to go on.
If anyone has anything new to add about this 2025 version, feel free to post here.
