An ex-con named Park Sae Yo Ri decided to make his and his father's dream come true. Alongside his friends, he conquered one of Korea's famous places, Itaewon. There, he met his unexpected rival and his love.

"N A N E U N-" Let's not go there, Chest Nut hair
Yes. Another one of my friend's recommendation- I don't even know why she's always at the top of the class when all she does is watch Kmovies and KDramas and read manhwas- sanaol.
Anyway, Itaewon Class is one of my favorite Kdramas, alongside the Goblin. I mean, I have not yet watched A L O T like her, so this one is by far my favorites. Chest Nut hair- I mean, Park Sae Ro Yi had a dream with his dad. That dream was to have their own restaurant. But as we all know, time is unexpected- and so is death. He lost his father because of the Jangga Co's son.
Who knew that someday, he and along with his friend will become a rival of the big Company, Jangga Co.
Who is Park Sae Ro Yi? Because of some things, he became an ex-con. We all know that being an ex-con who was set free- job searching is very hard for ex-con people. People judge and people are wary. But that did not stop him. Like he promised to his "friend", he was able to get his own pub for 5 years.
Why did the series become popular? It touched the audience's heart. Additionally, the message or the moral of the story is very clear. Of course, there is the cliche "Nothing is impossible if you worked hard." But actually, there are more. Patience, understanding, and forgiveness. Forgiveness. One of the hardest virtue to "get"- Like to be used or to do.
Sae Yo Ri had a rough life. He was just one of the people who stood up for good and became miserable in the end. But you know what? He ain't a loser- he did not give up without a fight. He, along with his friends strive hard.
And with his hard work, he was able to have a good ending, and a good girlfriend too lololol.
His "Friend" made the romance part of the series interesting. But when you watch the series, please do not be angry at that friend- it's a she.
Overall, this was a fantastic series.
