Name of the movie you are reviewing: Matilda (1996)

This film adaptation of a Roald Dahl work tells the story of Matilda Wormwood (Mara Wilson), a gifted girl forced to put up with a crude, distant father (Danny DeVito) and mother (Rhea Perlman). Worse, Agatha Trunchbull (Pam Ferris), the evil principal at Matilda's school, is a terrifyingly strict bully. However, when Matilda realizes she has the power of telekinesis, she begins to defend her friends from Trunchbull's wrath and fight back against her unkind parents.

Review:
When you are looking for a Nostalgic movie, say no more. THIS movie is one of them.
I have only actually watched this by myself. I thought that it would have been wonderful if I and my whole family have watched this. I do not even know if they have watched this, lol.

Matilda is all about her, of course. She was a bright child that has the power of telekinesis, which she used to defend her classmates from the villainous Miss Trunchbull. And what is really good about it, is- first of all, this is actually an adaptation of Roald Dahl's work, and second, the movie really sticks with the whole book. Nothing was removed and nothing was added. It was as if the book was brought to life. The actress of the character Ms. Trunchbull, who is Pam Ferris did an AMAZING job. She perfectly portrayed a child-hating character. And of course, we can't forget the protagonist who is Matilda. The actress, Mara Wilson, was brilliant. She was just really amazing. The rest of the cast and the directors along with his people did really an AMAZING job. When I was a kid and was watching this I really felt that I was powerful. Like, I was deeply inspired to be smart and powerful (in a realistic way of course,) by this movie. It made me feel like there were no impossible dreams for me to reach.

Why do I recommend this to be watched or to be watched again?
First of all, Nostalgia. Second is it's just really a fantastic movie.
And of course,
It is directed by God himself, Danny De Vito.

Would you recommend this to other users? Absolutely.
