My Xbox scared me

I got home today, and my Xbox had stuff all over it. I didn't think nothing of it. So I played for like a hour. And it started making a weird noise, and it was blinking red. I put my fan on it and unplugged it. because Google said it wasn't getting enough ventilation. It's okay now thank God. anyways I was just wondering should I give it a break tonight, or is it okay to continue playing on it.

Bruh. Having stuff over ventilation ports is never a good idea, no matter what device/platform. Well you can always learn from a harsh mistake, luckily this wasn't one.
