Anyone going to attempt it this year?

For those unaware, NaNoWriMo stands for National November Writing Month. The goal is to write a 50k word novel in the month of November. It's difficult but can be fun! A lot of companies even give discounts for those who attempt or complete the challenge like editors, writing tools, and even publishers.
But... 50k can be a bit much. It's all for fun so if you write 50k, 5k, or even 500, you did great! I'm surprised to not see anything related to the event so I thought it'd be great to start up a place for the community to throw ideas back and forth and give support.

I'll be giving it a got again this year (We'll see what happens......)

I didn't hit my goal but it was a lot of fun to try something completely different.
