I think I'm pretty late but I'll review this anyway.
A highly rated Korean film. It did not disappoint.
Story:
Okay. So I watched this movie without knowing the plot and I wasn't sure on what to expect.
It was f**king ridiculous (in a good way). The plot is very original, and I was impressed with how good they showed it. It was a roller coaster of emotions, it was really weird, funny, and shocking.
I can say that it made me say "WTF!?" more than I would like to admit.
It felt like it could easily be a series since there are lots of depth and story.
The movie felt like it was split three ways. If you watch it, then you will understand.
The characters were very strong, the acting, and emotions were pretty solid.
I was really happy with how ridiculous the story got. It was really entertaining even if it can be really nerve wracking at times
I thought the plot was really simple at first, but as it unraveled, it really throws a punch to the gut.
Visuals:
Really, really good. The cinematography was really awesome. I appreciate movies with good camera work, and this one did not disappoint.
Also, it really felt realistic, the effects.
Music:
I wore earphones while I was watching this movie, and I recommend you to watch it too. The subtle music (and the not so subtle ones) really fit. It was smart, not just the music, but everything.
I'm having a hard time describing what I've felt but it was awesome.
I heard this film because of the top ratings and I can see why. Everything blended together. This film is actually a whole lot better than most of high budgeted western films.
I may or may not be overreacting since I've literally finished this movie just ten minutes ago, but it did not disappoint.
Although, I think the ending was a bit rushed, but since they displayed it really well, I can forgive that.
Would you recommend this to other users? Yes. It is awesome. I was really impressed.
