Name of the movie you are reviewing: Ready Or Not
Girls gets married into rich, well-off family of interesting characters. On wedding night, family gathers to play a game which she pulls from a special box. As the title may give away, bride pulls "Hide and Seek", but what she doesn't know is that there is a twist to this version...
Review:
I absolutely adore the comedy/horror genres, so when this film came out I had to go see it in the cinemas to attempt to get the 'full effect'.
The acting is decent, the filming is beautiful and overall the film was pretty good for what usually gets produced these days. Samara Weaving pulls off a very very pretty bride and my heart cried for her wedding dress because it is just so darn beautiful.
If you like the edgy kind of setting, then this would probably be fitting. The trailer is a good example of what feel to expect as it pretty much embodes the idea of the film without giving away too much of what happens (which is a surprise and different from what we usually get in trailers these days).
There wasn't much predictability on what I thought would happen - this film strays a bit from the conventional stuff that we're used to, especially when it's a given that the heroine literally exudes the very being of a final girl. However, the way it was paced and set out was very good, I enjoyed it thoroughly though I don't think I would pay to see it a second time at the cinema.
Would you recommend this to other users? If you like to expand on the comedy/horror type of films and are looking for something slightly out the box, I would say this fits your bill!
