Review:
Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse is an American animated superhero movie that was released back in 2018.
Diving right at it immediately, the first thing that I want to mention is, of course, the animation. This beautifully crafted animation can not be completed without the help of 140 hardworking and super talented animators who used computer animation and the traditional hand-drawn methods.
The second one that I want to mention is the characters. All have different personalities that made the animation movie very engaging. But, no one was really engaging than Miles Morales. He was dubbed as the "Black Spider-Man" when the trailer was released, but, once the movie was released, everyone's opinion of him changed. He was a really developed character with real motivations and relatability.
Next is the story. With story and characters are a pair. If one is good, the other one must also be good. This movie is one of the movies that has a great storyline and a great set of characters. It started in a normal way. Meaning, the "normal" protagonist was described as someone who has a normal background. He came from an average, happy family and is just attending school. But, the more we dive deep into the movie, the more they add the "superpowers and the other universe." The pace was just immaculate.
And of course, kudos to the voice actors and actresses. Their voice acting was very on point. The emotions that need to be expressed was there. It was just immaculate. The whole movie was an emotional roller coaster but some scenes make viewers let out a giggle here and there.
The song choice was also perfect. No need for explanation. It was just really perfect.
I'm sure Stan Lee and Steve Ditko will really appreciate this. This movie needs to be perfect because it is for the two legends, after all.
