Stories a simulation game whereby you will play as a protagonist in the different stories they have. It has quite a handful of stories like Courting Desire, I am the Wild, The Sea’s Lost Daughter and many more. It is similar to other famous games like Choices and Chapters although Stories might not have as many books as these games.
Review:
Like many other games, the stories usually only has one ending and the choices given are insignificant. It is more alike to a visual display of a story.
The characters and design are pretty good, especially with their slight movement like the blinking of eyes, expressing emotions and wavering of hair helps make the character feel more animated. The outfits they offer are really pretty and the looks of characters are also rather appealing. Hence, I could see why users would pay for more visual appeal for enhancing their story experience. However, their choices seemed insignificant and has low impact on the storyline that I do not think it is worthy for the users to pay for. Sometimes, the choices you have made does not link up to the subsequent reply which is a flaw that the creators would need to mend on as it affects the overall experience due to such inconsistency.
The storyline is mediocre and does not have the pull factor or cliffhangers like the Choices games whereby you will be filled with anticipation for the next chapter to be released. An example of choices' books that has great plotlines are Bloodbound, Open Heart and Veil of Secrets. Hence, this could be something the creators can look into to improve on.
Would you recommend this to other users? Based on the current story-based simulation games in the market, I would say that it is worth the download especially if the visual appeal is of high importance for you. The story might not be eye-catching but it is still a good plot regardless and most would enjoy the experience. Definitely a great time filler game to play.
