The Parenting Simulator is a wonderful look into more mundane topics for choice based gaming. Throughout the journey, you'll have plenty of options for even smaller events. Notably, it offers a choice between seeing all possible events and randomizing your experience. The modding is also done quite well, providing a considerable edge compared to normal gameplay. This doesn't lock the player out of many endings either, only those that severely impact the course of the game due to money problems. The A.C.O.M is also very reliable, never crashing or running into errors after testing through all events.
There's enough choices that actually matter that it gives you a sense of fulfillment by the end. I would also go so far as to say that the replayability of this mod is quite high. That isn't to say that it's easy though. While having infinite money helps players reach a natural end, getting your desired outcome is tricky. It really does blend satisfying gameplay with the reality of parenting.
I personally believe that this is best approached slowly, doing a few years each day. With the random events option, this can provide endless entertainment with a helping hand to make the experience a relaxing one.
