Good day, to prevent any confusion and to help new members feel a bit safer, here is a guide on "how to report?" and "what to report?".
This guide could be subjected to change at any given time. Make sure to keep yourself well informed to safeguard yourself from scams or harassment.
Let's work together to keep our community safe.
The Report button is for reporting users, posts, and/or threads that violate the forum rules (not Mod problems) and the rules for the other sections on the forum:
- Inappropriate behavior.
- Inappropriate username.
- Inaappropriate profile image.
- Inappropriate signature.
- Spam.
- Begging for SB Points.
- Begging for Likes.
- Begging for Follows.
- Begging for free mods or direct links.
- Copied reviews.
- Duplicate posts.
- Forum bugs & glitches (NOT bugs on games/apps).
- Multiple accounts.
- Fake referrals.
- Pretending to be a staff, admin, or community team member.
Let commonsense guide us; What's wrong is wrong.
+ In an event where you want to report a thread that redirects you to the forum's home page, kindly PM Sbenny himself.
- From my personal experience, this only occurs when a game/app got a DMCA complaint, may it be recent or from the past.
+ In an event where you want to report a user, kindly click report on the post or thread that violated the forum rules . You can also find a report button on the members' profile page.
- Keeping screenshots could also help.
- Writing in great detail would also help.
- Writing in English would also help. (Google translate could also help.)
The Report button is NOT for:
1. Asking for update/Out-of-date reports.
--> We have a dedicated button for that; Located at the bottom of each game/app thread.
2. Bugs and problems on games/apps (Mod not working report).
--> Post a detailed comment explaining the bug/problem on the mod's dedicated thread instead.
3. Asking for a game license.
--> Post a comment on the mod's dedicated thread instead.
4. Saying "Thank you".
--> Post a comment on the mod's dedicated thread instead.
5. Asking for a direct link.
--> This is a ban-able offense.
6. Asking questions about the mod or how to install it.
--> Each game/app thread has detailed instructions on how to install. You can also PM the modder(s) or post a comment on the mod's dedicated thread.
7. Asking how to mod or requesting a game/app to be modded.
--> We have a dedicated section for game/app requests and a dedicated section filled with guides on how to mod.
--> You can also try to PM a modder for help, keep in mind they are busy people and what they want to do is up to them.
Note:
- Broken links/Our-of-date reports have a dedicated button located at the bottom of each game/app thread.
+ If you have any questions regarding this thread kindly post them in the "Questions" section.
+ If you have any suggestions kindly post them in the "Suggestions" section.
