Name of the app you are reviewing: The Room Three

“The Room Three” is the third part of an interesting puzzle from “The Room” series. This game continues the tactile puzzle-solving gameplay of its predecessors while considerably expanding the world for the player to explore.

Gameplay:
“The Room Three” is still very exciting to play. This part turned out to be much more difficult than the first two, and the puzzles became more interesting and confusing. The developers did not abandon the successful formula, so the concept is unchanged: there is a room, there is a mechanism, there are mechanisms inside the mechanism, and if you look closely, there will certainly be something hidden from prying eyes. The main difference of the game is that each puzzle now has to be found in several locations. This time they are parts of one castle: an ominous one, abandoned by all, located on an isolated island and full of mysteries.

The ultimate task is to get out to freedom (well, or at least somewhere) using all available gears, pedals and secret keys. The developers did not stint on a variety of tasks. The choice here is rich: from simple puzzles to three-dimensional models that require a special viewing angle, or, for example, complex moving structures that need to cast a shadow of the correct shape. To master most of the puzzles, basic logical thinking and observation is enough.

Plot:
A more interesting story has appeared in the game. It can be understood from notes. The innovation of this part is the presence of alternative endings. After the first ending, the game itself suggests looking for other endings, hinting that not all objects of the mysterious mansion have yet found their use. At the same time, the game turn off all hints and leave the player to himself. To get the most difficult ending you need to solve all the puzzles.

Atmosphere:
To say that the game is beautiful is to say nothing. The carefully crafted locations are full of interior details that create the feeling of being in a real mansion. A variety of shadows, glare and light refraction make the picture more lifelike. And this is in addition to the atmospheric music, quite realistic squeaks, tapping and rattling, which usually accompany any of our manipulations with objects.

Summary:
It's amazing how from part to part the game does not fall in quality, but, on the contrary, expands in scale, becomes much better in terms of plot and design components.
If the first project of Fireproof Games was and remains quite innovative, then the last release of "The Room" franchise does not offer us anything fundamentally new, but continues to develop a very interesting concept.

Would you recommend this to other users? I recommend this game to all those who liked the previous parts and those who like solving unusual puzzles with mechanisms.
