Name of the app you are reviewing: Together in the Sky
Link to the content you're reviewing on our site (optional): Together in the sky - Otome Dating Sim Otome games + MOD
An otome game by Dearead Inc/whomor inc that doesn't appear to be avaliable in the store anymore. A short dating sim that would take you about roughly 8-10 hours to complete.
Review:
When I come across a visual novel by this company, I don't expect it to be a super amazing story. It is a short game after all. Despite the weird pacing of the story sometimes, this one is by far my most favourite so far. I never knew sky pirates would interest me so much!
You play as a young woman who works as a physician but is also your local Mary Sue. Seriously, she's like most protagonists in otomes; smiles a lot, cries a lot, nice to everyone, way too polite and generally a boring character. She did have some moments of being a bit of a badass but not enough that she was memorable.
It was a long time ago since I played the prologue so I admit I don't remember all the events that take place but by the end of it, she's on a sky pirate ship as the ship's temporary doctor, surronded by men (oh my). And three of them are this game's love interests!
We have:
Ruphon - The ship's captain
Chris - The ship's engineer
Cincy - The ship's....bodyguard...? Handyman..?
All the guys were pretty awesome, character wise and story wise. Each story was unique and didn't repeat events from other routes. Only major gripe is they should've added a route for Enette who was the chef and even better, my type.
There are 10 chapters with each character and 10 parts to a chapter. Each part is short and you'll be seeing a lot of ads in between. I found turning off my phone's wifi helped with this. At a certain point in each chapter (minus the 10th) you'll also have to choose a choice out of three. I used a walkthrough but you could easily see which one is correct as the right choice will have hearts coming from the guy.
Would you recommend this to other users? If you have the patience to be tapping the screen to load part after part and some ads thrown in there, then yes!
I thought the stories were well done and I wasn't disappointed.
