Why do you they made this game? Before this came out Garland was just a simple main villain like any of the other countless JRPG games.
Why do you think they giving him a tragic backstory and like changing the story from Garland bad to Garland victim and the Lufenians bad.
But by making the Lufenians bad they are f****ng up the story of Final Fantasy.
The Lufenians lived in the floating palace and were ousted from there by Tiamat and upon using the Rosetta stone the Warriors of light were able to speak to the Lufenians and get their help to defeat the four fiends. But in Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin ending, the Lufenians severed all connections from the world to save themselves from the spread of chaos. So, if this was the prequel where how would the Lufenians come to be in the main world when the real Warriors of light would need their assistance to defeat the four fiends.

By the way this is just a rant about plot holes in the game by a nobody.
Please don't get upset.
The game was in the top ten best-selling games in its launch month.

Final Fantasy Origin are that it's a very polarizing but fascinating game. It's a spin-off that intentionally breaks from the main series' style, and its reception really reflects that. The combat system is widely praised for being fast, challenging, and satisfying, and the job system offers a huge amount of customization. It also has a unique, B-movie narrative tone that either lands perfectly with players or falls flat. On the other hand, the graphics are often criticized for feeling outdated, and the level design can be repetitive. It's a game that you either love for its gameplay and self-aware humor or dislike for its technical and narrative quirks.
