It was probably the first shoujo anime (and manga) that I found that had such an amazing female protagonist ~ I literally had a crush on both Misaki and Usui

I almost forgot about that anime, I used to love that show.

I mean, I am currently wearing an Evangelion shirt, so I'll leave you with that information. Also Princess Tutu, Cowboy Bebop, Banana Fish and for some reason I used to absolutely love Zero No Tsukaima as a kid; got over that phase but it still holds a lil place on my heart.
(And Children of The Whale but... We do not talk about that anime in this land...)

they're such great characters... i loved all their funny dialogues and how she always called him an alien.

i haven't yet, but it is on my to-read list. i'm just a lot slower at reading than i am watching...
