I didn't found any way to bypass the ban... That's why I didn't updated this game yet.

If anyone is still interested, there is a workaround for the story data error. I am aware that there is no modded version of the game here that has been updated, but there is elsewhere. A quick google search will find it for you. However, hopefully this will inspire the app gets updated here. Not to mention, the other mods do not include unlimited keys like this one did. First, you want to save your progress by logging in via FB. Then, you install the modded version of Whispers. Make sure that you go into app settings AND GRANT STORAGE permissions. If the mod has an overlay grant, that as well. Then you play through the first chapter as normal with the mod. After, you WILL get the "story data error, please try again" message. You exit the app, uninstall it, and go into playstore. Download and install the legit version of the game and again, make sure to grant STORAGE permissions. After that, you open the app, wait a few minutes before opening the app. Once you do, see if you can open a story without getting the "story data error". If you cannot, uninstall and reinstall the app from playstore and be sure to grant storage permissions! You will need to do it anywhere from 2-3 times. After, you should be able to access stories without the error. Only once you have achieved this, uninstall the legit version. After, you reinstall the modded version. I know I sound like a broken record, but this is VERY IMPORTANT, make sure you grant STORAGE permission. Enable overlays if there are any. Then start up the modded version, and you can play through your chapter. The downside is that you will need to do this for every chapter, but you will be able to play through a book. I guess "story data error" is not a ban like we originally thought, because it can be bypassed. I hope this helps and that it gets modded here again, because I loved Gourov's mod for this particular game.

Short information about the error: The game is successfully installed and opened, but when the in-game buttons are pressed, it says the version is not up to date and directs it to the play store. sorry the app is not working. Thank you for your work and I wish you success in your new work.
