The Google Pixel 6a was recently pre-ordered in over a dozen countries, and we have one for you to review. Our unit is available in Sage color, but there are two other options: Chalk and Charcoal.
Regardless of the color model purchased, the Pixel 6a box comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable, a USB-C to 3.5mm audio dongle, some documents, and a SIM card ejector. The box doesn’t include a charger, so if you don’t already have a compatible power supply, you’ll need to purchase one.

The Google Pixel 6a is powered by the company’s Tensor 5nm chip and also has Google’s Titan M2 security coprocessor under the hood. It runs on Android 12 out of the box and has 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of onboard UFS 3.1 memory. The smartphone does not have a microSD card slot and there is no other version with more storage, so if you want more space, you have to look elsewhere.
The Pixel 6a is built around a 6.1-inch FullHD + 60Hz OLED screen protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It has a hole in the center for the 8MP selfie camera and an underlying fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.

On the back, we have a horizontal bar similar to the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, which houses a 12.2MP primary and 12MP ultrawide camera joined by an LED flash.

The rest of the Google Pixel 6a’s highlights include an IP67 rating, stereo speakers, and 5G connectivity. Powering the entire package is a 4,410mAh battery with 18W charging support.
