Developer 343 Industries has promised fans that it will keep them informed of the progress of Halo: Infinite with monthly updates.
Speaking on Reddit, 343 Industries community manager Brian Jarrard confirmed that the studio will release a regular stream of information about the game. This will begin in a few days with the release of the first update.
“We are committed to updating at least monthly to a high level and the next ‘Inside Infinite’ will be released this week,” wrote Jarrard. “This month, we speak with members of the sandbox team to share some information about their vision for Halo Infinite and the work they are doing.”
However, Jarrard confirmed that fans shouldn’t expect any big announcements or revelations during these updates. Instead, they will be used as a way to keep players updated on the latest developments in the Xbox-exclusive title.
The move follows 343 Industries’ weeks of silence after Halo: Infinite was delayed late last year. The game received criticism after its initial unveiling, leading Microsoft and the developer to delay its launch in 2021. This was a blow considering that Halo: Infinite was supposed to be the biggest draw for the Xbox Series X | S.
Since then, 343 industries have said they spend more time refining and improving the overall experience. A noticeable change comes in the graphics, which will apparently be greatly improved as part of the work in progress.
