Several online retailers have suggested that BioWare’s Mass Effect: Legendary Edition will launch on March 12, 2021.

The game, which includes remastered versions of the three original Mass Effect games, was listed in a variety of outlets around the world earlier today. All lists included the March release date. However, EA has not officially confirmed when the title will be released.

One thing that is still unclear is how much work has gone into improving the Mass Effect trilogy for the latest hardware. BioWare chief Casey Hudson explained that the developer has updated the models, textures, shaders and effects for all three games. But he made it clear that this was an improved remaster rather than a more complete remake.

EA previously revealed that Mass Effect: Legendary Edition will launch in spring 2021 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The title, which includes all previously released DLCs and expansions, will have further improvements when played on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S.
