Yesterday Samsung presented Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra: all three models full of artificial intelligence. AI of the Galaxy, Indeed. They’ll obviously run Android 14, with One UI 6.1 on top, unlike any other Samsung device so far (they’re all on One UI 6 on top).
So if you have an older Samsung, you might be wondering if your device will get some of those AI features eventually. Good news: the answer is yes. “Many”, according to Samsung itself.

The models that, at least initially, will receive these AI features are Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5 and the Galaxy Tab S9 series. All of these will receive their AI infusion in the first half of the year.
We assume this means they’ll be updated to One UI 6.1 until the end of June, and that it will contain those “many” AI features first seen on the S24 family: lots of them, but not all, keep in mind. It’s not clear yet Which which features will make the cut and which won’t, but stick around and we’ll let you know when we find out.
