Tower of fantasy (ToF) is a shared open world MMORPG developed by Infinite Level and Hotta Studio for multiple platforms including PC, Android and iOS devices. Tower of Fantasy is an ambitious MMORPG that has tried to offer a unique experience for players by implementing stylized anime themes with sci-fi elements not usually seen in this genre. SSR selector in Tower of Fantasy is a one-time item that can be used to claim one of the listed Simulacra and associated weapons. SSR Selector: Selection criteria in Tower of Fantasy

The SSR Selector has all of the following characters and weapons available which are associated with each other. Meta-wise, if the game follows the same path as the CN version of ToF, most of these characters will gain the power insinuated by the new limited characters. However, the S-rank characters on this roster will remain relevant for the next 5-6 months after the global release.

Samir

Samir is a character of the Volt element focused on DPS and his main weapon is the dual pistols called Dual EM Stars. He is a very powerful character and one of the top 3 damage inflicting players currently in the game.

Its play style is fast, flashy, and fluid, which is the main reason many new players consider it a top priority, not to mention its gorgeous design. The Dual EM Stars is a great weapon that is overall very good with fast attacks and damage, but one drawback is the weapon’s lower range.

Tsubasa

Tsubasa is a DPS-focused Ice Element character and his main weapon is the bow called the Icewind Arrow. Unlike Samir, Tsubasa is a long-range focused DPS character and her entire kit revolves around dealing AOE damage.

It also has a damage boost that can stack on top of it, provided by its weapon. On this list, Tsubasa is easily one of the safest choices as his weapon at higher levels can provide a very strong push that is relevant in many situations.

King

King is a DPS-focused Flame Element character and his main weapon is the Scythe called the Crow’s Scythe. He is also a great choice to play the DPS role aside from the high damage, his main weapon of him is a Shield Breaker, which is very necessary for breaking heavily shielded bosses.

It is also capable of dealing high AOE damage and not to mention that it can inflict DOT when the enemy’s shield is broken. Overall, another great choice for the first choice SSR character.

Meryl

Meryl works primarily as a tank for the team and can also provide healing when needed. Her weapon is a Claymore type called Rosy Edge and can also be used as a shield breaker. Her kit allows her to form a shield that can protect her from enemy attacks but can occasionally appear clumsy. She belongs to the Ice element and has some tricks focused on it.

Final thoughts

For a new Tower of Fantasy player, you need to have characters to play the three main roles which are DPS, Support, and a Shieldbreaker. If you already have an SSR before using the selector be sure to choose a different role character than the one you already have. Going for cheating for a powerful character can come in handy in the near future if planned correctly.

It is also recommended that you choose one from level S and A characters, as these characters will remain meta-relevant for quite a long time and will have their niche use once overshadowed by the newer characters.
