Clash of Clans he often receives surprising updates for his fans, and no doubt Supercell has extraordinary creativity in this area. A lot of updates have been made to the game, some of which have been really impactful and have taken the game to a different dimension. One such game-changing update was introduced last spring the Clash of Clans Capital of the clan. Fans of the game loved this update and most of them love the idea behind it. So, to understand the concept behind it, we’ll go through this guide and break down what Clash of Clans Clan Capital is exactly.

Understanding the basics of clan capital in Clash of Clans

Have you ever thought of a mode in which members of a clan, all together, build bases or carry out more than two attacks together? It would be chaos but still fun! Implementing the same idea, Clan Capital mode focuses on this aspect and allows all clan members to build their own bases and fight together against other clans. Players can recruit troops, join base building, and more. Your clan and player village must meet the criteria (given below) to play Clan Capital and by tapping the airship in the game, you are ready to enter Clan Capital mode.

Clan battles will yield many rewards and special benefits for the player and his clan. The rewards will be a type of currency, which will be explained in the following sections.

Eligibility to play Clan Capital

There is an eligibility criterion for playing Clan Capital, which is not that complex. In terms of clan level, your clan should be at least level 2 to participate in the mode. As for your village, your town hall level should be level 6 and higher. Once the requirements are met, you can travel to the Capital via the Air Ship next to the Home Village.

Clash of Clans Clan Capital Guides and Tips

As mentioned above, the mode will feature villages, each with a certain level. They are organized and with each level you pass, you can upgrade to unlock villages, thus unlocking troops and buildings and upgrading them. The following sections explain the Clan Capital terminologies and make players understand how to approach this game mode.

The flying machine, the forge and the merchant

The Flying ship is a means of transportation that will help you travel to Clan Capital. Forge is a building, a type of airship in Clash of Clans that takes you to your clan capital. This facility allows you to produce and collect small amounts of Capital Gold, the resource you need to upgrade your Capital Buildings, every day.

Players with a higher Town Hall level will be able to assign builders to trade resources with Capital Gold, which means you will need a free Builder to convert resources into Capital Gold. The Gold Pass Builder Boost and Builder Potions will accelerate and reduce the time it takes to create Capital Gold at the Forge. You can also complete an ongoing Capital Gold conversion using Gems.

In the Clash of Clans Clan Capital update, the Merchant offers items for sale. All players in a clan will see the same items for sale at the same time with offers changing every Tuesday. Players will be able to purchase more items with Gems or you can spend your saved Raid Medals on items offered by the Trader, be it resources or Magic Items. Purchasing items for sale using Raid Medals will subtract the amount in Raid Medals from the player’s collection.

Capital Districts

The series of bases within the Clan Capital is called the Capital Districts. More information on the same is provided below.

Capital Peak and Capital Hall

The base of the head is called the Capital Peak, which is the highest and most important base of your Capital. You will unlock the Peak of the Capital as soon as you unlock the Clan Capital mode. This base will contain the clan capital city hall, called the Capital Hall, which is your important aspect.

The Capital Hall upgrade allows you to unlock the other bases, upgrade, etc. Clan players can contribute to the upgrading of capital districts. Capital Hall upgrade requirements are set out as follows:

Level / District barbarian camp Valley of the Wizards Balloon Lagoon Builder’s workshop Dragon cliffs Golem quarry
1 2 3 4 5 6 7
2 3 4 5 6 7 7
3 5 6 7 7 8 8
4 7 8 8 9 9 9
5 9 10 10 10 10 10

Note, all of these buildings will only be one each, they will not increase when you upgrade the Capital Hall. As you upgrade the Capital Hall, hit points will also increase.

Districts and Town Hall

The other districts also unlock troops and, at each level, troops are unlocked, building upgrades and strength of your army, etc. It can be upgraded. Each district has a theme and with this theme players can identify the troops they can unlock and upgrade.

There are six other districts that can be unlocked once you level up in the Capital Hall. Each of the six districts has its own district room. The District Hall upgrade will allow you to unlock new upgrade levels for buildings, traps and troops in that specific district. District information is shown in the following table:

Weekend of raids and capital raids

Within the Clan Capital mode, players can participate in raids. Raid Weekends is a period of events where clans fight against other clan capitals. The main objective of the mode is to destroy as many Clan Capitals as possible by obtaining 3-star raids on all the districts of the Capital and then destroy the Peak of the Capital. Clans and players earn Capital Gold and Raid Medals as rewards.

The battle starts on Friday and ends on Monday. The 50 clan members can participate in this event and each player can fight up to 5 times during the Raid Weekend period, but the chances of getting an additional attack increase if you perform a 3-star attack in a clan district. The maximum bonus you can get is one attack.

Clan Capital villages pass the damage on to the next attacker, for example, if an attacker deals 10% damage to the Clan Capital village, without the stars being claimed, it is permanent and will not be restored when the next attacker will deploy. Also, traps do not rearm between attacks. So if a previous attack had activated a trap, it will remain activated. Spells will also remain for an attack after they are cast. For example, if you release a healing spell, when your clanmate subsequently attacks that healing spell they will still be on the battle arena for your clanmate’s next attack.

Matching the Raid Weekend event for a clan is against other clans with the same building level. This happens once all the bases of the opponent’s Clan Capital have been destroyed. Head to head is not enabled in the event. It’s like normal multiplayer games where you attack another player’s base but they’re not attacking yours.

District Friendly Challenges

Players can play District Friendly Challenges, just like in the Hometown Friendly Battles option. This is to test the design capabilities of the Clan Capital. Anyone in the clan can start a District Friendly Challenge, but only one Challenge per District can be active. Players who attack a District during a District Challenge will attack using the Army of the Capital and your clanmates will be able to continue attacking a District until it is destroyed. The player who initiated the Challenge can also participate in attacks to get the best out of the challenge and improve the base.

To avoid copying enemy districts to practice attacks on, district challenges will be disabled and cannot be launched during raid weekends.

Layout of the clan capital

To participate and win the Clan Capital event, it is important to have the best layout. Clan members can help build the best foundation. However, these changes can only be made by the Leader and Co-Leaders of the particular clan. If the layouts are changed during the Raid Weekend event, the changes will not take place until the end of a matchmaking.

As for the basic layout design for Capital Peak, we don’t have a Copy Base option yet. So you can’t take a baseline and copy it directly. You should manually arrange the bases in your Capital Peak village. Stay tuned to this space as we will bring the base layouts for each level (up to level 5) of Clan Capital Peak along with the district bases.

Lands and defenses

The section will explain the different terrains and defenses in Clan Capital and what it is all about.

Land in the clan capital

  • Waterfall – Buildings cannot be placed on water and ground troops cannot cross water terrain. However, using a frost spell will create an icy surface for your troops to cross the icy water. Should a land unit be forced to spawn on water terrain, it will automatically be repositioned to the closest land point with a 2-tile radius. If no terrain is within 2 tiles, the generated unit will die instantly. Flying troops can bypass the water.
  • Cliffs – The rocky terrain shows a change in elevation. So the ground troops cannot go around the cliff terrain and will have to go around it. Flying troops will be able to fly over the cliffs.
  • Bridges – Buildings cannot be placed on a bridge. Ground units will be able to cross a bridge, but crafty base builders can use the narrow passage to create choke points in your defenses to channel enemy troops into your defensive damage.

Defenses in the Clan Capital

  • Cannon – Defense only on the ground. Works like cannons in your home village and builder base.
  • Air defense – Air defense only, targets air troops.
  • Super Giant post – Super Giants are defensive troops when you build a Super Giant Post.
  • Super Dragon To send – As defensive units, they will rain burning devastation from the skies.
  • Siege wagon post – Works similar to the ones in Builder Bases.
  • Super Wizard Tower – Tower equipped with Super Mages.
  • Rocket artillery – Eagle artillery, but with a rocket.
  • Tower of Hell – Targets both ground and air troops and works similar to that in the home village.
  • Giant cannon – If you thought a giant cannon in the builder base was devastating, imagine how your enemies feel when there are several on the battlefield.
  • MegaTela – Electric defense power, targets both air and ground troops. It works similar to that of Builder Base.
  • Bomb Tower – Bowling prohibited. It happens when the skeletons take explosive devices.
  • Multi mortar – It will be fun to see how the Builder Base defenses will be devastating on a much wider battlefield during Capital Raids.
  • Aerial bombs – Air trap only.
  • crusher – Ground defense only that deals with area damage.
  • Explosion arc – A huge ballista that causes splash damage with its explosive attacks.
  • Multicannon – A rapid-fire cannon with multiple barrels.
  • Rapid rockets – Shorter range than Air Defense but deals more damage.
  • Trap Zap – Unload nearby enemies.
  • Spear thrower – Turn air and ground units into kebabs with a dangerous disaster spear.
  • Trap for logs – Area damage, ground only.
  • mines – Traps that deal area damage.
  • Megaminiera – Greater damage, larger area, larger boom.
  • Capital room – The Capital Hall has its own projectile defensive weapon that will wreak havoc and chaos on enemy attackers.

Army training

Unlike home village troop training or builder base, there is no time frame to train troops. All troops are instantly trained and ready for battle. To train your army, players can access the Training option in the Army Camp in the Clan Districts. The size of the army camp is the combined total strength of all the districts of the capital combined. As in the home village, your army camp troops do not defend your village.

If anyone from the clan wants to fight, they have full access to the troops and spells unlocked in the Clan Capital, regardless of their level. If your clan unlocks Super Dragons in the Dragon Reef District, all members of your clan will be able to train Super Dragons for their respective Capital battles. Heroes from Builder Base and Home Village will not be available for battles.

Troops and spells

Troops in the clan capital

In the Clan Capital, the troops are unlocked by building their own Barracks, unlike the ones we follow in the Hometown. Each individual troop has its own barracks which are unlocked with some Clan Districts. Currently, the Clan Capital has 14 troops:

  • Battle ram
  • Flying fortress
  • Pig raiders
  • Minion horde
  • Mountain golem
  • Raid Cart
  • Rocket balloons
  • Skeleton barrels
  • Devious Archers
  • Super barbarian
  • Super Dragon
  • Supergiant
  • Super PEKKA
  • Super Wizard

There is no laboratory system here. Upgrading the respective barracks will automatically upgrade the troops. To upgrade, clan members must provide the required contributions.

Spells in the Clan Capital

They serve the same application as Home Villages. To unlock spells, you need to build the Spell Factory for each spell. Currently, the Clan Capital has 5 spells:

  • Frost spell
  • Healing spell
  • Skip the spell
  • Lightning spell
  • Spell of anger

Unlike Home Village, these spells here have no duration and will remain during attacks. Once your attack is over, your spell will remain on the battlefield and will be active in the next battle in this clan district. Similar to troops, there is no laboratory system here. Upgrading the respective factories will upgrade the spells. To upgrade, clan members must pay the required Capital Gold contributions.

Rewarding

Players can be rewarded in the game through the Capital of gold And Raid Medals. Capital Gold is used to upgrade buildings in your capital. You can earn Capital Gold by creating the Hometown and Builder Base resources available in the Forge. Remember, your Capital Gold can be stolen during any attack.

At the end of the Raid Weekend, you can check the total rewards for offensive and defensive achievements and the total loot of capital earned.
